2 weeks left to register for PRAXIS!

The 6^th Annual Praxis Conference will be held on the SCU Gold Coast Campus from 25-26 June 2019 and hosted by the Southern Cross Postgraduate Association.

PRAXIS continues to deliver on its reputation of being the premier event for SCU Postgrads to present and engage with research and practice. A professional and collegial event, PRAXIS prepares postgraduates for presenting and networking at external conferences. It also provides a platform to showcase the high calibre of research across the SCU postgraduate footprint.

Each year over 100 attendees converge on PRAXIS for two days of presentations, a keynote address and the conference dinner. The invitation to present is extended to all honours, masters and higher degree by research students. All are welcome as attendees to provide support, be inspired and get involved in the conversation and new ideas.

In 2019 we are excited to host prominent Australian sociologist, social commentator, feminist and activist – Adjunct Professor Eva Cox as our keynote speaker. Further details are to come, but this is not to be missed!

Now is the time for you become involved, registrations for presenters close in just two weeks! All postgraduate students are invited to present a short paper, poster presentation or participate in the study slam. Presenters receive support with travel and accommodation financial assistance* and a complementary Conference Dinner.  This is your chance to prepare for upcoming conferences, present research for feedback from peers, and develop your networks at SCU.
