I began a Bachelor of Social Welfare at Southern Cross University (SCU) in 2014. My interest towards social policy then led me to undertake an Honours in Social Science, which I have just completed, with First Class Honours. I have a passion for helping other students to achieve their best and during my time at SCU I have mentored students over several years, being rewarded with the SCU Inaugural Mentor of the Year in 2015. I have also just completed the first on-campus Peer Assisted Study Session (PASS) for Introduction to Social Welfare.
It is my ambition to continue my studies, as my passion for research has grown, and I am currently applying to undertake a Doctorate of Philosophy at SCU. Serving on the SCPA Committee allows me to further contribute to the SCU community and to ensure all fellow post-graduate students feel supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
