This seminar will discuss Yin’s case study approach with a particular focus on data analysis.  When I was completing my PhD in which I conducted a multiple-phase mixed methods case study adopting the principles of Yin, within a realist paradigm, I read Yin’s book from front to back millions of times but when it came to case study data analysis, it left me with so many questions.  There are no real good resources on how to complete the data analysis section of a case study and so I had to develop my own.  I’m currently writing an article on how to complete case study data analysis.  Bring your questions, bring your papers or thesis and we can go over case study analysis and how to make such a difficult section of a thesis seem really easy.
