I completed a Bachelors of Commerce in 2002, a Masters of Commerce in 2005 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications in 2003 from Kurukshetra University, India. Following this I’ve worked as an Accountant in a Government organisation for 6 years and as a Manager (Accounts and Purchase) in private enterprise for 2 years.
However, my passion for studying abroad brought me to Southern Cross University where I am undertaking a Masters by Research on the Gold Coast Campus. I work as a Research Assistant in the Organic Seed Grant Project in the School of Health & Human Sciences. I am also an enthusiastic member of the SCU EnvironMentals group which satisfies my interest towards the environment and meeting new friends from different cultures at our campus.
As a newly elected member of the SCPA Committee, and being an international student, I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to help students at SCU, especially those from overseas. I hope this position allows me to solve their problems and contribute to their well-being.
