It feels like we have lived through more than just the first few months of this year! We have been working hard behind the scenes to support postgrads through this difficult time.
Here are a few things that have been happening.
- We are now opening our office up virtually every Monday between 12-1pm over Zoom. If you want to drop in for a quick chat, ask a question or just connect with someone in person (sort of 🙂 ) please feel free to drop in.
- We have been updating our blackboard site which is where we store all of our training and resources for you to assist you in your studies. If you need help finding these I have made this video showing you where it is
- We have also been partnering with CAPA (your peak body for postgraduate associations in Australia) to campaign on behalf of postgraduate students, particularly international postgrads for more support during this difficult time. - We are aware that our annual PRAXIS conference which would normally be held in June will not be able to run like it normally does. We are working behind the scenes to try to provide an alternative (either in dates or format) that will still provide the wonderful opportunity of presenting your research to your peers and all the networking that happens at conferences as well.
