I am a PhD researcher at Southern Cross University, Australia, where my work focuses on understanding how microalgae grow on biofilms, particularly within perfused biofilm systems. My research investigates the interactions between different species and substrates, with the goal of contributing to innovative and sustainable biotechnology solutions. This project not only challenges me scientifically but also inspires me to think creatively about the role of microalgae in addressing global environmental issues.
Outside my academic work, I enjoy living life with curiosity and adventure. Music and singing are my creative outlets, while travelling and exploring nature give me fresh perspectives and spark new ideas. I love discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and finding joy in small adventures: whether it’s a hike, a road trip, or simply trying something new. These experiences keep me energised and bring balance to the intensity of research, while also shaping the way I see and approach the world.
