SCPA Committee Roles and Election

Our committee is your committee. If you would like the professional experience of volunteering in a team-based, multi-campus environment, you may want to consider volunteering as a SCPA committee member.  Not only is this an excellent opportunity to network with other postgrads from a range of disciplines and backgrounds, it also represents a professional skills development opportunity.

You may elect to join either as an ordinary committee member, or as an executive member such as president, vice-president, secretary or treasurer. Your commitment can be flexible, as we are empathetic that each one of us is already under time pressure with study, work, or family.

By volunteering as a member of our committee, you would be demonstrating and developing your ability to work as part of a team, to attend meetings and develop proposals and other official documents – all skills to include on your CV.

Election for committee members are held every year at the SCPA Annual General Meeting.
